GOOD NEWS FOR STUDENTS JKBOSE REDUCES SYLLABUS FOR 9TH TO 12TH CLASS CHECK OFFICIAL NOTIFICATION ✅✅

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has taken a significant step towards aligning its syllabi with the guidelines of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. In an effort to reduce the content load of textbooks and promote experiential learning with a creative mindset, JKBOSE has decided to rationalize the syllabi and textbooks for Classes 9th to 12th.

Inspired by the rationalization efforts undertaken by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) in New Delhi, jk bose aims to enhance the quality of education by streamlining the curriculum. The decision to rationalize the syllabi will provide students with more opportunities to engage in experiential learning and develop a holistic understanding of the subjects.

All stakeholders, including students, teachers, and parents, are hereby informed that the rationalized syllabi and textbooks for Classes 9,10,11,12th  will be implemented in all JKBOSE affiliated schools from the upcoming academic session, 2023-24. By aligning with the NCERT’s rationalization framework, JKBOSE intends to create a standardized curriculum that ensures uniformity and enables students to acquire knowledge and skills essential for their overall development.

In due course of time, the JKBOSE website will provide access to the rationalized syllabi, which will include the deleted contents. This will assist teachers and students in understanding the revised curriculum and prepare effectively for the upcoming academic year.

The rationalization of syllabi by jk bose reflects the board’s commitment to adapt to the evolving educational landscape and create an environment conducive to comprehensive learning. By incorporating the principles outlined in the NEP 2020, JKBOSE aims to foster a more dynamic and engaging educational experience for the students of Jammu and Kashmir.
